
Adobe and Meta release Substance 3D Reviewer to Reimagine Design Reviews – powered by RapidPipeline
Distributed Design Reviews Re-Imagined, in 3D & VR
If you’re working with a global team doing product design, you might know this problem: how to do a meaningful design review when stakeholders are distributed across the globe? Powerful and Easy-to-Use 3D Optimization – Thanks to RapidPipeline
One challenge that remained so far was that technical and non-technical stakeholders using Substance 3D Reviewer are able to bring in all kinds of 3D CAD and design files – which is great – but at the same time, those files need to be visualized at high framerates, in stereo view, on VR headsets. This means that an additional data prep step would be needed, which would be a problem in many workflows.
Luckily, Adobe was able to integrate RapidPipeline to solve exactly this challenge: Thanks to RapidPipeline, Substance Reviewer users can now simply optimize their asset for perfect VR use, in the Substance 3D Reviewer Web interface, with just a very few clicks.
