How RapidPipeline is Revolutionizing CAD Integration - Interview with AECCafé

February 25, 2025

In December last year DGG's CEO Max Limper was interviewed by AECCafé. He spoke about rebranding to RapidPipeline, RapidPipeline's new advanced CAD support, and the similarities between aquariums and SaaS.

RapidPipeline provides automated 3D data pipelining between data sources and target apps

The rebranding to RapidPipeline was a strategic move, as optimizing 3D data for different target applications - the core of RapidCompact - is no longer the only feature. Powerful format conversions, compression and automated asset quality control map steps along the entire 3D pipeline. RapidCompact has evolved from its original state into a powerful piece of software, and we wanted to communicate that in the name.

Transform CAD files into real-time assets with the RapidPipeline CAD Addition

With the new RapidPipeline Advanced CAD Support it is now possible to directly upload your CAD files from Catia, Solid Works and many more. Eliminate the intermediate step of converting your files into obj or step files and get your CAD files directly into your target applications such as Unreal Engine, Unity or something else.

To accommodate different user needs, Advanced CAD Support is available through our new flexible pricing options.

Max’s passion: “Building things and seeing them grow”

Max also answered a few personal questions at the end. His personal passion is music and playing the guitar. He also recently started his own aquarium, so he has his own ecosystem to look after, similar to running a SaaS that you can watch grow over time.
